The Brief:
Creation, development and validation of new electronics, firmware and mechanical housing for the use of a point of care sensor development project underway within the clients primary facility.
Project Development:
Acting as a stand-alone development team, we were responsible for the creation, and validation of a new testing harness for use within the clients development and quality lab infrastructure.
The device was based on a predicate handheld system currently under development, and our development focus was on the improvement of the electronics, firmware and scalability of the test device for use in lab conditions. Data capturing and lab software was included in the scope.
The multi channel system was but with reliability and cleaning in mind due to the high volume and testing throughput required for a device of this nature.
Project Outputs:
Full system validation package generated and signed off
Creation of 5 production level lab systems for the clients internal use
